Eva María Monzón Rubio is a recognized professional in the treatment of pain, with extensive experience and high-level training.
He studied Medicine at the Complutense University of Madrid and received his training as a specialist in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation at the Doctor Negrín Hospital in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. There he worked the following years as an anesthesiologist; initially at the hospital where he received his training and later at the Hospital Insular de las Palmas de Gran Canaria where he carried out his work until he moved to Madrid in October 2008.
From 2008 to 2016 she worked at the Hospital del Tajo, where she came to work as Head of the Anesthesiology Service from 2014 to 2016, as well as president of the Pain Commission.
In 2009 he began his journey in the treatment of chronic pain with the completion of the Master's Degree in Pain Treatment at the Rey Juan Carlos University, which prompted him to start working in this field; collaborating in the team of Dr. Alfonso Vidal at Hospital Quirónsalud Sur and later in the team of Dr. Abejón at Hospital Universitario Quirónsalud Madrid.
Since then, she has completed a Fellowship in Neuromodulation, actively participates in the "Hospital without Pain" working group at Quirónsalud Madrid University Hospital, and has been working professionally since October 2016 as Associate Head of Doctor Abejón's Pain Unit.

He has recently obtained certification in Budapest by the WIP-FIPP Board of Examination (World Institute of Pain) as a Fellowship in Pain Practitioner.
She is an Associate Professor at the European University, in the Faculty of Medicine: Therapeutics/Clinical Training, Medicine Degree, European University and collaborates as a professor in the Master's Degree in Pain Medicine (Spanish Pain Society), in the module coordinated by Dr. .Drone.
